Bryan’s Gems

Well… it seems I’m starting a whole new category, again, already!! Cause when it rains, it pours. This one is entitled Bryan’s Gems.  Pretty self explanatory.

Bryan is  fairly young in the Lord – if you go by when he actually surrendered his life over to Jesus. But thanks to family inheritance and good foundations (grandparents…you rock!!!), and just who God has created him to be, Bryan walks in a hunger that only continues to grow, a depth of understanding that would rock most people’s minds, and wisdom that swells well beyond both his natural an ‘spiritual’ age. He is constantly teaching me, even when not trying to, just by how he is walking out his relationship with God and man.

I was just thinking, in the last half hour, how it is that he can teach me so much. Then it dawned on me… what parent, at some point in the early years of their child’s life, doesn’t see the world from a whole new point of view, through the eyes of their child. Maybe it’s a reawakening to old joys long forgotten, or just the uniqueness of who God created them to be.

Enjoy… and prepare to even be rocked to the core…

Hello! I’m still breathing!

Yes, folks I am still breathing… not sure my eyes ever completely open anymore.. but I’m still breathing.

Getting a team ready for an international journey, even with another leader, in 3 months.. well… that’s about all I’m getting done. And even then, well lets just say, nothing has been according to my plans.. But that’s ok, once upon a time, God told me “make your plans, just let me interrupt. I like to show up and show off’. Fine by me I said… and I keep reminding me of it too. Anyhow, blogging has been pretty much on the shelf cause I can never do it quickly! So here I am.. and here I go. Going to reblog something I just read, and then I’m out of here again.

Blessings all!

Happy 1st Birthday!!

Wow! I knew it was coming, but I wasn’t sure exactly when.

So while I’m sitting in Georgia where we’ve moved our daughter to, just relaxing a bit, I decided to check things out. I had nothing planned to post. (I left the camera cord at home!!! ugh!) Much to my surprise I found a Happy Anniversary notification! So, here we are. I can’t believe a whole year has passed already since I entered this world of blogging! Thanks to you who follow A Life In His Hands and Mission Possible! 1st Stop Nicaragua. A Life in His Hands is One Year Old today!! Happy Birthday to us!
